"Wired to the Landscape" at Lunaria Gallery

Lunaria Gallery presents an exhibit  of current work by artists Jane Castelan Buccola and Robert Fox, both contributing members of Lunaria.  Jane Castelan Buccola contributes colorful abstract paintings to the fanciful sculpted flowers and images of Robert Fox.  In the loft, the exhibit, OHMYGOSHBOTS & kindafishy, features a collection of  assemblages and sculptures by Deb Wallig.  Wallig's 3D images are made through the use of found and vintage objects.   Both shows will be on display July 31 - September 2, 2019, during regular business hours and at the First Friday artists' reception August 2, from 7-9 pm.

Wired To The Landscape is an exhibit of work by Jane Castelan Buccola and Robert Fox.   Both artists are contributing members at Lunaria Gallery.   Buccola has been a pastel painter for years, recently exploring oil and acrylic.  She employs a loose, abstract, "en plein air" approach to her 2D surfaces. Her images burst with color and texture. Jane lives in Silverton, Oregon and received a BA in Art from UC Irvine.   Robert Fox has a wide expertise in many mediums; including glass, bronze, wire, mixed media sculpting, drawing, and painting. For this exhibit, Robert combines wire, rock, wood, silk, paint, and paper to create fanciful and delicately sculpted flowers.  Fox lives in Salem, Oregon. Painter Jane Buccola and Sculptor Robert Fox have brought together a body of work within their respective mediums that reflects the blossoming colors and forms of nature in summer.

In the Loft, OHMYGOSHBOTS & kindafishy, celebrates life through a whimsical exhibit of assemblages and fabric sculptures.   Artist Deb Wallig describes herself as a a "treasure hunter from an early age".  She frequents estate sales, thrift stores, reuse facilities, anywhere a treasure can be found, to find her materials.  With an anthropomorphic eye and a sense of humor, Deb then assembles her pieces. Deb Wallig is a local artist who has displayed at the The Cracked Pots Show, Lunaria Gallery, Red Raven Gallery, and River Gallery where she is an associate member.
