The Chocolate Box and Mayberrys Antiques invite all Members, their families and friends, as well as the community at large to a enjoy a wine and chocolate tasting event to be held on First Friday, July 3, at Mayberrys Antiques, located at 204 N. Water Street, between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The featured wine will be offered by Willamette Valley's premier winery, Domaine Margelle, located in Scotts Mills. Domaine Margelle, a 100 acre vineyard and extraordinarily beautiful wedding venue, www.DomainMargelle.com, has been producing award winning grapes which are currently used by Pudding River Winery. Now, Domaine Margelle, owned by Marci and Steve Taylor, has just completed its First Estate Bottling of its own private label Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris and is excited to have you explore its limited edition wines which have been described by notable vitners as being "stunning" "gorgeous" and "an incredible wine to drink now and in the next couple of years".
As a compliment to the wines, The Chocolate Box, www.silvertonchocolateboxshop.com, located next door to Mayberrys, will offer pinot noir, cabernet and reisling chocolate truffles at a discounted price for those customers who participate in the wine tasting, as well as tastings of an extraordinary chocolate pinot noir and carmel rum chocolate sauce made by Extreme Chocolates in Salem."
