Victor Point Run for the Hills is May 5
Channel your inner Viking at Victor Point School’s Run for the Hills Saturday, May 5.
The event features a 1-miler for kids, a 5K fun run/walk, and challenging 10K and 15K courses. All four events start and finish at the school, with the longer races winding through the beautiful Cascade foothills surrounding it.
The 1-miler begins at 8 am, followed by the 15K at 8:15 am, and the 5K and 10K races at 8:45 am.
Kids 12-and-under pay $10 to run the 1-miler (or any race). For those 13-and-up, the 5K is $20, the 10K is $20, and the 15K is $30. T-shirts are $5.
Race Northwest of Mt. Angel will officially time all four events. Runners, walkers and onlookers will enjoy the festive atmosphere at the school featuring a raffle, playground, snacks and free coffee.
Proceeds benefit the K-8 students at Victor Point School, via the non-profit Parent Teacher Community Club (PTCC).
