Thomas Merton's 100th Birthday; His Message on Contemplation
Born January 31, 1915; Thomas Merton was an American Catholic writer and mystic. A Trappist Monk of the Abbey of Gethsemani, Kentucky, he was a poet, social activist, author, and student of comparative religion. This silent retreat will offer insight and information on Thomas Merton's teaching on contemplation and mindfulness.
