Run for the Hills
New this year, Run for the Hills features a 1-mile run for kids, a 5K fun run/walk, and a challenging and unforgettable 15K. All three events start and finish at the school, with the longer races winding through the beautiful Cascade foothills surrounding it. Proceeds benefit the school. Race costs are $10 for the 1-miler (kids 12-and-under) and $20 for the 5K and 15K. Online registration closes May 22, and costs rise $10 per person after that.
Runners will enjoy a festive atmosphere featuring music, a raffle, a wonderful playground and food. Key sponsors are BC Plumbing, Renoud Electric, Silverton Family Dentistry, Ioka Farms, Z Excavation, Slayden Community Fund, Victor Point Farms, BrucePac Meat Product Designers, Von Flue Construction and Family Medical Group of Silverton.
