Rooted in Food Fair

Silverton Saturday Market, Diggin’ Roots and Motherhood Planning, LLC are bringing you the second annual Rooted in Food Fair. Our mission is to connect local growers, educators, and people who care where our food comes from to families with different cultural backgrounds and dietary needs, as well as to promote healthy eating and a more connected community. We are from many different backgrounds (vegan, vegetarian, omnivorous, gluten-free, etc.) with one thing in common, a strong belief in a healthy, chemical-free, and local diet.

The Rooted in Food Fair will include:
• Vendors: Forest Meadow Farm, the Silverton Gleaners and Preservers, and you!
• Children’s activities: Presented by Community Roots Montessori School
• Community Presenters: TBA
• Raffle
• Food Documentaries: Presented at the Silverton Library during the month of February to promote and build interest in the fair.
