Ripped and Hammered: Rebekah Rigsby and Emily Start

Two longtime family friends team up for this fun (yet sober!) two-person show.

Ripped
Rebekah Rigsby creates intricate mixed media collage paintings with multiple layers of paint and torn paper. Each painting incorporates hundreds of pieces of torn paper, each carefully ripped, while paying special attention to the unique colors and textures of each small piece.

Hammered
Emily Start builds hammered metal jewelry with vibrant, colorful stones. With shapes inspired by nature, each piece includes distinctive metal ribbons that wrap the stones at the center. Each piece is unique, yet bears the fingerprint of a distinctive artistic style.
