Pacific NW Teen Square Dance Festival
May 4 & 5 – Competition for ages 8-12 & 12-19 in square dancing, round dancing, calling and cueing. There are 6 separate levels in each category that corresponds to both age and experience.
Silver City Squares Youth are the host club. This is only the 2nd time Oregon has hosted the competition, the last time was 30 years ago! There will be teams from British Columbia and Washington as well as Oregon. Up to 600 attendees are expected.
The festival begins with open dance May 4, 7-9 pm and continues all day on May 5 from 7 am until 9 pm in both gyms at Silverton High School.
