Homer Davenport Days
Since 1980, Silverton has celebrated the life and humor of Homer Davenport, internationally respected and pioneering political cartoonist from the turn of the last century,The festival consists of an arts and crafts fair, food and music, a parade, the Davenport (couch) Races, a political cartoon contest and many other events.
