The Homer Davenport Community Festival is sponsored by the Silverton Rotary Club and honors Silverton resident and political cartoonist Homer Davenport. The festival includes arts & crafts booths, food booths and exciting entertainment on the Main Stage in Coolidge McClaine Park all three days.
Friday & Saturday the Silverton Lions Club holds their annual Harvest Breakfast in Coolidge McClaine Park. Other Saturday events include Homer's Classic Fun Run, the Homer Davenport Parade at 10 am, and the Silverton Flywheels Classic Car Cruise In in Old Mill Park beginning at 9 am. On Sunday watch the Davenport Races on Main Street.

Friday through Sunday, August 3, 4, & 5 Festival hours are Friday noon - 8 pm, Saturday 10 am - 8 pm, Sunday 10 am - 6 pm. The pancake breakfast on Saturday & Sunday runs from 7 am until noon.
Location
Main activities occur in Silverton's Coolidge McClaine Park. The Homer parade begins at Water & C Streets at 10 am, travels south on Water St. to Oak St., left on to First St. and north to the finish area near Roth's Market. The car show is in Old Mill Park off S. Water St. between the Silverton swimming pool and Silver Falls Library.
