The Great Grown-Up Spelling Bee & Dessert and Wine Auction benefits the Silverton Kiwanis Club for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program. The program provides free once-a-month books to local children from birth until age 5. Doors open at 6:00 pm for the Wine & Dessert Auction, and hors d' oeuvres; the Spelling Bee begins at 7:00 pm. Advance tickets are $25 ($30 at the door) available from Kiwanis members, Library Director Christy Davis, at Bledsoe Santana Team Realty, and the Chamber office.
