Getting Started with Alpacas Workshop This free workshop is the door opener for experiencing the alpaca industry and daily routine care on our alpaca ranch. Depending on the needs, you will get hands on experience with nail trimming, top knot clean up, deworming, vaccinations, wound care, birthings, spit offs, breeding and halter training. Tour the barn, fencing and pastures. Bill is an AOBA Certified Fleece and Performance Judge. He will walk you thru the different qualities of fiber and how best to breed for finer fiber. We will have fleece samples open for instruction. Please call ahead and reserve your space in class.
