Silverton throws a party from 7 to 9 pm on the first Friday of every month. Visit gallery openings, shops, boutiques and dine as you mingle with friends.
The theme for March is "Read Across America Day".
Families are invited to attend the community wide celebration.
3-5 pm Silver Falls Library - Celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss
6-8 pm Citizens Bank Event Headquarters - Silverton Together & Reading for all free books and fun activities.
7-9 pm Activities at participating merchants: Radioshack, Books-N-Time, Whimsy 4 Kids, Stone Buddha, The Red Bench, Hand Me downs, Silverton Coffee Station and The Green Store.
