Event at Lunaria Gallery

Lunaria Gallery's Featured April Exhibit:  “Nature Inspired” showcasing award winning artists: Helen Nute Wiens studio jeweler,  and oil paintings by Barbara Bassett.

Helen's jewelry, with sinuous lines and organic designs, has an Art Nouveau quality. This show will introduce her recent exploration of enameling on copper, which she has incorporated into her fold-form leaves and hand-forged flower pieces.

Barbara Bassett’s juicy and vibrant oil paintings reflect various elements of nature. Includes spring unfolding, from peaceful landscapes to mist of waves on the beach. She also paints nests and suggests symbolism of life stages, along with the feathery birds from outside her window.

  UPSTAIRS SHOW: "The upstairs gallery will have a group photography exhibit, entitled "Small Works/Big World-- Landscapes in the spirit of June Drake" featuring the work of gallery members as well as local and Salem photographers."
