Budding Artists Flower at Robert Frost Elementary School
It’s not just spring flowers in bloom this time of year. Student artists in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades at Robert Frost Elementary School are blossoming, and showcasing their creative artwork during Silverton’s First Friday event on May 3rd. The school will be open to the public from 6:30 – 7:30 PM, and will display over 600 pieces of student artwork. The Children’s Art Show will feature a variety of student-created visual artwork, including clay sculpture, masks, and two-dimensional pieces.
Visitors will also enjoy the music of student pianists, who will perform during the event. Student docents will be available near artwork displays to answer questions and explain about the artwork. Families and all community members are welcome and encouraged to visit the school at 201 Westfield Street in Silverton.
