This month’s Jr. Gardener’s Club and Garden University program will take place May 17 from 2 to 3:30 pm. The horticulture staff will give a tour of the Garden greenhouses where more than 40,000 colorful plants are awaiting planting by volunteers. The staff will explain the propagation and seed techniques required to beautify the 80-acre botanical garden. Junior Gardeners will also plant in a special area of the Silverton Market Garden, then come back later in the summer to check on the plants.
