Open to ages: 15 to Adult - In this Two-Day Workshop you will start by learning basic color principles, the attributes of color, understanding color space and how to navigate it. Hue -Value - Chroma - Temperature - understanding these terms and what they mean as it concerns artists. Understanding the effects of colors. Using color to control the viewer and express your intentions in your work. Color notation - a system that allows you to record colors and color combination as a musician learns to read and write music. You will practice the method of determining and mixing the colors we see. In this workshop you will work on many small projects designed to deepen your understanding and give you the tools to confidently work with color. This class is for everyone interested in color regardless of skill level experience or whether you’re an artist or not. Great for anyone who wishes to understand color.
